LA Animal Services: RACO Program

LA Animal Services has a great opportunity for people who are looking to work with animals. The RACO (Reserve Animal Control Officer) program offers volunteers the opportunity to receive training and take part performing similar functions as Animal Control Officers. To be considered for this program, volunteers must commit to 16 hours monthly for at least 3 months.

Individuals need to be at least 21 years of age, a high school graduate, have a valid driver’s license and pass a background test.

For more information and  full program requirements read more on the Granada Hills South Neighborhood Council site. Download the Los Angeles City application, hurry before spaces fill up!
