The City of Agoura Hills and Camp Bow Wow hosting the 8th annual Reyes Adobe Days Fall Festival, slated to happen this weekend, beginning Friday October 5 running through the 7th.
Held in celebration of Agoura Hills, the Reyes Adobe historical site includes the first house in Agoura Hills with educational information on the Rancho period of California history and culture. At the site, the City of Agoura Hills has created an interpretive center and museum for visitors to see, first hand, what life was like in the Rancho days of California.
The main part of the festival will take place Saturday, October 6, & Sunday, October 7, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm with activities and events held throughout the weekend.
Some of the fun things going on include music, food, entertainment, and man authentic Rancho Period Activities. Be sure to look for the many local artists what will be on hand, the Blacksmith demonstration, train rides, a horse competition, the 10 k and 10 mile race, and petting zoo for the little ones.
And, with Halloween is your thing and you enjoy a scare in the air, sign up for the 90 minute Ghost Tour taking place Saturday night ($20, for ages14+)
