“The American Red Cross pre-fair blood drive is next week, Tuesday, Aug. 6, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel, 601 W. McKinley Ave., Pomona. Pre-register at www.redcrossblood.org (code word: fairmckinley). Walk-ins are welcome. All donors receive a Fair ticket good for any day.”

2013 pricing information

The Ventura County Fair began in 1875, where the primary focus was horse racing. The fair was enjoyed so much that it continued every year up until today- with the exception of a few years during World War II. The tradition continues with the opening of the 138th Ventura County Fair, themed “Boots, Barns and Banjos”. Be a part of VenturaCounty history and attend the 2013 fair, running July 31 through August 11 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds in Ventura.
