A new location, inventory and feel, Ross Department Store celebrated their grand opening Saturday March 8th, 2014. This move seems to have come at the right time, as their old place on Reseda and Nordoff had parking lot challenges.
Inside, the store was abuzz with shoppers, so much that someone asked me if there was a sale going on. All check-outs were open to manage the line that extended and wrapped around the back of the store. Plenty of employees were on the floor managing the steady flow of merchandise go backs. It was really a frenzy. I browsed through the juniors section to find shirts, swim trunks and shoes. The great thing is I found plenty of sizes available for the styles I liked. Also, the benefit of the larger store means you can navigate a shopping cart down the aisle without bumping into another shopper.
To celebrate their new place grand opening, we are giving away a $25 gift certificate to one WSFV reader. Please leave a comment below telling us what you would buy with your gift card. One entry per person. Giveaway ends March 16th, 2014 at 11:59pm PST.
Ross is now at the old Circuit City site and there is ample and no fuss parking.
