Know a young person who needs a job for the summer? Los Angeles County has earmarked some resources to help LA County youth earn some summer money and more importantly some hard to get work experience for the up and coming work force.
Working with several county departments, cities, local Workforce Investment Boards, Non-Profit organizations and businesses, the county is offering the opportunity for young adults to work; gain first time work experience and help cultivate the future Los Angeles workforce.
The goal is to assist nearly 8,000 young Angelinos.
Eligibility for the program includes:
Youth ages 14-21
Right to work in U.S.
L.A. County Resident
Valid Work Permit, is under 18.
