Once a year Orcutt Ranch opens their orchard to the public for fruit picking. Valencia oranges and white grapefruit can be picked and purchased. If you have time this Saturday or Sunday, load the family up and take a drive over to West Hills. Once there, read up on the history of this place and see how many times you find Orcutt’s initials throughout the grounds. On July 11-12th, 2015 pick fruit by hand and load up boxes or your own bags. Fruit picker rentals are available on-site for one dollar. The parking lot is on south side of Roscoe and there is street parking on north side (watch out for traffic). Picking hours: 7 am – 1:30 pm.
